You are jointly responsible for setting up and teaching the RIVM data management curriculum. Act as a strategic advisor to the Direction/ Management of the institute, advising in the field of data management policy. You also have the following duties and responsibilities: Within this project, the data steward will set up a data platform to support researchers in the VHP4Safety consortium. 
Together with other experts, the data steward has the task of exploring various solutions and integrating them for VHP4Safety. Various data sources are integrated in VHP4Safety, such as data from toxicology, clinic, epidemiology, exposure, etc. The data steward will work in a consortium with more than 35 partners, both national and international, to build the data infrastructure and workflow for VHP4Safety. The aim of the project is to build a platform for an animal-free, reliable, humanly relevant safety assessment. In addition to your general duties as data steward, you also contribute to the NWA-ORC project Virtual Human Platform for Safety Assessment (VHP4Safety). Together with the other two colleague data stewards you are responsible for shaping the data stewardship at RIVM, including increasing the quality and standardization of research data management and supporting researchers in drawing up data management plans and making research data FAIR.
Maintain the data object issue and risk registers and drive prioritisation, mitigation and resolution with the data object owner and working group.RIVM is looking for an enthusiastic data steward!Īs a data steward you will work within the IV organization, at the CIO office. Organise and run the data governance working groups. Participate in project, process or governance forums as delegate of the data owner. 
Participate in change control processes to provide guidance, oversight and decision-making.
